It's a boring day.

Let’s Blog again.

It’s early in the morning and I’m blogging once again. Why? Coz I’m freaking hell bored in the office and got absolutely nothing to do. People might be willing anytime to accept a job who pays you to do nothing but not me. I can’t stand… or rather sit around and do nothing. BUT however, sometimes, I get damm f**king busy. Perhaps, the company is paying me to be around physically so that I can be available whenever they need me. Mmm. Kind of interesting. Perhaps I can strike a deal with them to station myself at home and magically appear in office whenever they need me. Hahaha.

Next, another reason why I blog again within such a short time frame is coz I feel happy to blog or write again. I enjoy expressing my thoughts. This is coz I’m such an expressive individual. Muahaha.

Things I did since waking up and will be doing later before I sleep.

1) I woke up in the morning and asked myself if I was sick enough to convince the doctor to give me MC. However, the fact being that I’m not even able to convince myself that I’m sick, I drag myself to wash up.
2) Went to MRT station and fought for a seat like most other Singaporeans and in the course, I tripped 2 senior citizens and 1 pregnant lady. Yes.. I got my seat.
3) Alighted at Cityhall MRT and took a shuttle bus to UE Square.
4) Had my usual breakfast at the friendly kopitaim by telling the Auntie. Same order as yesterday.
5) Went to office. Logged on to computer and clear my hundreds of emails.
6) Slack around doing nothing till lunch. Hahaha
7) Will be going to Gleneagles Hospital in the afternoon to help with the relief packing for the Indons who suffered in the earthquake.
8) After work, will do nothing and earn $280.00
9) Go home for dinner and go out again.
10) Spend the $280.00 which I cheated.
11) Reach home before 12am.
12) Watch TV programs till 2am.
13) Sleep.
NOTE: Point 2 is purely fictional and self imaginative.

So this is my day planned out for myself. Hehe. What a nice plan.

So, let me see if there is anything else to blog or rather rant about. Seems like my mind is kind of dry now. It’s really boring in office with June on leave and Aaron on halfday reservist. Awww. Life sucks when you have no one to disturb. Hahaha.

Dumpling Festival
At this very point, my colleagues are talking about “Zhong Zi” Dumplings. And to make matters worse, the person leading the conversation is one of our Corporate Communications Officer. Haha. Kind of ironical right but trust them to remind the rest of us that we are suppose to eat dumplings today. Kaoz. Don’t they know the facts?

The dumplings came about when some so called “Xu Yuan” who is supposing a great and just officer who jumped into some river in China to kill himself. So the Sales and Marketing Team of Delicious Dumpling Pte Ltd decided to make a marketing gimmick out of it by telling the poor and stupid commoners that if they bought the dumplings from their company, they will get a free dumpling for every 2 bought. They certainly had an eye for the market. Wondering if they used the 4 Ps or 7 Ps of marketing.

On top of this offer, they can show their “love” for the officer “Xu Yuan” by throwing the newly bought dumplings into the river so that the fishes will not eat the body of “Xu Yuan” but eat the dumplings. Wow. This story is even better than Da Vinci Code. What a great story made up in order to boost the sales of dumplings in ancient China. Sadly, all of them fell for it and till today, we are still living in this lie. In the first place, when did fishes learn how to untie the knots on the dumplings and eat them. Special fishes I suppose.

Okie… enough of this nonsensical dumpling story. Let me tell a “cold” joke on dumplings since it’s the festival now.

Question: A dumpling dropped on the floor. Who picked the dumpling up?

Clue: Think of dumpling in Hokkien…

Friends come N friends go BUT Brothers stay forever.

So define friends.

Definition from a dictionary (Friend): a person with whom you are acquainted

So, friends are simply acquaintances that you have. Mmm. To think that so much emphasis I had placed on it. Then what about brothers?

Mmm. That sounds more like it. At least I know that when my friends leave me, I still have brothers. People who will be there for you. Live and breathe the very same air you breathe in and pull you up by doing simple things that you really need. Brothers.... they are coming back soon and I can't wait.

Recent events cause me to wonder and ponder about my friends and brothers. Perhaps I need to rethink and reflect. Who are those who are there for me no matter who I am, what I do or what I become.

I just hope that when I treat people without wax, I hope to get the same back in return. Do unto others what you want others to do unto you. I believe in this and hope those around me do too. Now, there's actually a few person I really wish to catch up on and I dun mind listing them here.

Without Wax

Time to Blog.

I feel inspired to blog again. Knowing that people I know can be inspired by what I write sometimes.
(Note: The "sometimes" means like once in every hundred post. -_-"')

Actually, it's not that I do not want to blog but to blog, means to write. To write means you got to have a topic to write on. So when you do not have a topic, you cannot write and when you cannot write, means you cannot blog. Hence, when you cannot blog, means there will not be any post on the blog. When there is no new post on the blog, amazingly, due to technological advancements, the old post will be shown. How amazing techynology is right? I know I wan to blog but there's no suitable topic. Either there is not much inspiring or happening things happening in my Life or perhaps those things that happened are better kept to myself and not made known to the public. Hence, I cannot blog on certain matters as well.

OOO. I have a topic. In fact, if you read the paragraph above, it all points at needing a topic in order to blog. So perhaps I can blog on why people blog. I'm a Genius. No choice. You expect nothing less from a talent like me. I'm JasunZ and as what Wai Sum like to say "Hey, Guy Without Wax"

As per Arthur's wedding the other day, I was once again questioned on why I put the "Without Wax" behind my name JasunZ. Hence I went through the entire story and when I finished, although they were kind of "impressed", they doubted me and thought I made the entire story up. They in fact thought that "Without Wax" means I don't not put Wax on my hair. NONSENSE! In fact I use wax on my hair almost every single day. Okie. In order not to further confuse poor souls trying to figure out what "Without Wax" means and why I put it behind my name, I shall include the story in this post. Apologise to those who know about it already.

The Highly Awaited Without Wax Story
Without Wax is from two Latin words, sine, without, and cera, wax. It is also where the modern word sincere comes from.

In the olden days, Artificers of European countries fashioned highly expensive statuettes out of a very fine porcelain. It was of such fragile nature that extreme care and skill had to be taken when firing the figurines to keep them from cracking. Hence to get a fine porcelain whould require a highly skilled and experienced Artificer.

Dishonest dealers would sell the cracked figurines at a much lower price and then fill the cracks with wax before offering them for sale. But honest merchants would display their uncracked porcelain wares with signs that read, “sine cera,” “without wax.”

Hence, to be Without Wax means being pure, without flaws, geniune and of course sincere.

Ok. So now the story is out and I suppose people should be inspired to treat people around us without wax. That's my way of Life. =)

Mmm. So much for not having a topic to write about write. From starting off with writting rubbish until telling a historical story to explain 2 words. How interesting language is right and how it ties back to history. Perphaps this is one of the great reasons why Historians enjoy doing what they are doing.

Ok. Now for a bit of happenings. Last night went out with Fran to "la kopi" (la kopi = Singlish term for having coffee) at Bukit Batok. Armii was tired from work so she did not come along. After that, I rushed home to catch the re-telecast of the Singapore Idol Audtions as I missed it the other day. It was indeed "interesting" I never expect that there are such "lamers" (lamers = People who are extremely lame) Had a great laugh, watch some more TV Programs and hit the sack.

That should be about all. Still trying to recover from my Flu cum Cough cum Sore Throat. Once I recover, I can go KTV and sing again. Coz singing is my passion. Haha. Sounds very Singapore Idol right. Hahaha.

Time to blog again

Let's Blog.

Been quite sometime since I last blogged. Due to lack of motivation to blog etc.

Recently had really been kind of leading a really quiet life. Not much activities not much excitement. Just a kind of simple life.

Ok. Recently been kind of sick. Having a bad cough and flu. Juz can't recover. Been about 1 week now.

Yesterday was Arthur's weeding... erm... I mean wedding day. So early in the morning went over to his house and get ready. Time's up and set off to Stella's home. As usual ate some funnie stuffs, sang songs and "some" angpows before we were allowed into the house. After that was a frenzy of moving here and moving there. Getting in and out fo the cars. But it was a happy day. Dinner was fine and we didn't drink much so all is cool.

After all the guest had left, we went up to the room to have some fun with Arthur. Although I took some pics, the pics are kind of R21 Cat. so it's not possible to post them here. Went home at ard 1am plus. On the way home, spoke Cheryl. Was kind of disturbed and felt sad at the same time. So chatted a while and hope to make her feel better. That's Dr J mah... haha..

Anyway, this morning woke up, was damm tired and still dragged myself to church. After church, went home to sleep and after dinner, went down to Gleneagles to do some visitation. Lots of feelings.

Life.... Sometimes, we do not know how fortunate we are. We do not cherish those around us. We do no face our true feelings and we only have to lose. Certain events that happen in our Lives, although not what we like to happen, happens for a reason. We do not understand it but in due time, the entire picture will unfold and we will understand that everything in Life happens for a reason.

I shall change for the best as I'm already better. Hahaha..

Indeed, 20 years of my life has gone so fast. So much had happened and especially in the last 4 years since I turned 20. Alas, I sometimes wonder in awe how I manage to go through all of them and remain in one piece. Not only did I survive all of the trials but I emerged stronger, better, wiser --- A Winner.

Pain revisits me now and then and the frequency of it's visit is worrying. It's becoming friendlier. Haha. What a way to put it? But that's me. Making the best out of every bad situation. That's how I survived the past 4 years. If not, I would have broken down and join Daniel Powter. Hahaha.

Now, I'm living day after day. I'm knowing more about people around me and yet I'm of no much happier. Perhaps, the less I know the better I will be but I gifted with the talent of knowing things I shouldn't and if that's my curse, I shall and will make it to my advantage.

As hurt as I may be now, I can only blame myself for all that happens. It's all part of retribution. What goes around, comes around. I used to think I must commit my 100% to friendships. But perhaps its just naive-ness on my part. I should had remembered the scared phrase and it shall be today's quote again.

I shall spend these few months to myself and reflect, rethink and remake my life. Hence once September comes, I will be a new person. This song shall spur me on to greater heights and I shall be new again.

Opportunity Cost

Let's blog now.......

These few days been keeping quite quiet. Not really my usual self. Been thinking hard. Doing decision making. Important decision making that involve a change in job and lifestyle. I will definately move on. It's only now or later. I feel like moving on now and the urge to leave is getting stronger with each passing day.

I had analyzed the Opportunity Cost of changing jobs and infact all points to moving on NOW! However, I had given my word to help till the end of this project. If I leave now, the project will suffer. It's not that I'm so extremely in this project but I can foresee great difficulty if I leave. And that is the minimum consquence.

One of the main reason I'm having this problem is that I'm not being appreciated here and I believe that management need to be taught a lesson. Usually, the lessons comes in form of losing a important staff which they never appreciated. I'm in fact disgusted by the management. They do not have staff welfare and it's shit! So the decision is clear. If I leave now, they will suffer as they are losing someone who can do anything and almost everything. Someone with 1yrs plus of experience on the job. However, if I leave at the end of the year. The damage is still there. However, it will be lesser. Isn't that letting them off too easily.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

Will come to the decision by the end of the month. It will be WAR between me and the MD. But I know I'm leaving for good.

Okie. Now something on the lighter note. Was at Mac the other day waiting for lessons to commence. So I happen to have this "handsome" friend of mine enjoying himself. I had masked out some other characters in the background as they totally spoil the beautiful picture. Hahaha.

Let's Blog Again...

It's been a super long time since I last blog. Not coz' I'm lazy but coz I dunno what to blog about. This happens when your life gets so super routine and there's bascially nothing interesting or new to blog about. So instead of blogging the same things over and over again, I decided to come to the decision of not to blog at all. Great decision right. Hahaha. Anyway, recently got a bit of happening things to share, hence here I am again. Just some recap on things I encounter during the time I disappear from Blogspace...

Had been playing a bit of MJ and the other day, my friend did this in front of me...

*He did a 13 Wonders right in front of me. Wah lau. something I always wanted.


*The other day, Aaron tired to escape and he packed his stuffs into a box and disappeared. Totally nonsense.


*Was below my office the other day and saw this. The sunlight shone through my office building UE Square & reflected it on the building opposite. I felt it was interesting and took it down.


*Aaron wanted to act style and ask me to take a pic of him looking at the building.


*Was at home the other day and saw the beautiful sunset. So decided to take a pic.


I understand that the above is totally random but... at least it's interesting right or I hope so.

Ok. Now for some recent events that happened. Went to catch a movie with Franacia on Sunday. Watched Daisy. Jun Ji Hyun is totally "FARIY" like. Been a huge fan of hers since the big hit "My Sassy Girl" In this show, she plays an artist. Mmmm.. Slurpps... The show was actually lousy and without story line. But with the actor so charming and Jun Ji Hyun so attractive, My eyes stayed glued to the screen. After the movie, went to Hillview Al-Ameen to have dinner. We then decided to go on a "adventure". Went to drive around Lim Chu Kang & Hillview area to view those "Ghost" areas. Haha. Ended up at Kranji Dam for drinks and chat.

She dropped me at Causeway point. Was an interesting day.

Yesterday, after dinner, went to play soccer with the Monday Boys. Had a great time, although playing under the rain. Was super tired as the rain made playing much more difficult. BUT, still enjoyed myself alot.

Will be having lessons today and tomorrow. So should have nothing much to update. Arthur's wedding is coming nearer. Will be looking forward to see him putting both legs into the graveyard.... oops... I mean both legs into a blissful marriage... hahaha... Stella will kill me if she sees this. muahahaha...

Okie. That's all. Let's hope more interesting stuffs happen to my life so that I can blog more about it.
